Jesus told us to love each other as he loved us. How did Jesus love us? Sacrificially. Unconditionally. With abandon.
We’ll never truly grasp how much Jesus loves us. But serving is a hands-on way to experience his love. It challenges us to care more deeply for others and sacrifice for their good—and it shows us more clearly how he has always loved us.
What would it look like to love others that way? To go out of our way for them, even when it costs us? To help someone without pausing to ask if they deserve it? To jump at the chance to make a difference, even when others would hesitate?
