Read: Acts 9:1-19
Head
Paul's story is one of the greatest examples of transformation in Scripture. Before following Jesus, Paul was actively trying to destroy the church. He believed he was defending God while actually fighting against him.
Then Jesus met him on the road to Damascus.
What makes Paul's story incredible isn't just that Jesus forgave him. Jesus gave him a new purpose. The same passion Paul once used against the church would later be used to build the church.
God didn't erase Paul's personality, intelligence, or passion. He redeemed them. Grace doesn't simply make bad people good—it transforms people into who God created them to become.
Heart
Many people believe their past limits their future. They think certain mistakes, failures, or seasons define them forever. Paul reminds us that Jesus specializes in redemption.
The question isn't, “What have I done?” The deeper question is, “What can Jesus do with my life?”
What part of your story needs to be surrendered to God's transforming grace?
Hands
Write down one area where you need God's transformation.
Pray specifically for God to redeem that area and use it for his purposes.
Pray: God, thank you that your grace is stronger than my past. Transform my heart, redeem my story, and use my life for purposes greater than I could imagine. Amen.
